Feature Overview

When the adapter has been successfully applied to a Salesforce Application, the Phone adapter should be visible on the bottom-left of the user's screen.

Clicking on the adapter will establish the connection to the MiVoice Office Application Suite and will open the idle display.

If 'Phone XXXX Offline' is displayed in the title, this means the adapter is connected to the telephone system OK but the phone the user is connected to is unplugged or if you are hot desk user, it is not hot desked in.

Once connected, all the other features of the solution will become available:

Multiple Tabs

The Phone Manager API which supports the Phone Manager Salesforce Adapter is limited to a single connection per user.

If a second Salesforce tab is opened on the user's computer, the original tab will be disconnected from the telephone system.

To reconnect the adapter, click the 'Reconnect' button which should be displayed in the center of the adapter's form.
