Settings
In addition to the Salesforce settings, the Phone Manager has its own settings for controlling the Screen Pop and Task Creation features.
To access the settings, click the settings icon to the right of the dial button at the top of the Phone Manager form:
The following settings are available to select:
Screen Pop Mode
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Manual | Matching records will only be popped when the user requests it by pressing the 'Screen Pop' button |
Call Ringing | A matching record will be automatically popped when a call starts ringing |
Call Answered | A matching record will be automatically popped when a call is answered |
Note
To enable/disable popping of incoming or outgoing calls, change the Salesforce settings.
Auto Task Creation
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Disabled | Tasks are not automatically created |
Enabled | Tasks are automatically added to contacts when a call ends |
